New Growth Press recently released many titles of mini books authored by the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation. A while back I received a few mini books from the series offering Biblical solutions to everyday problems that parents might encounter.

Here’s just a few of the titles:

  • Single Parents: Daily Grace for the Hardest Job
  • How Do I Stop Losing It With My Kids? Getting to the heart of your Discipline problems
  • Angry Children: Understanding and Helping Your Child Regain Control
  • Peer Pressure: Recognizing the Warning Signs and Giving New Direction

There’s also titles dealing with marriage, step-families, adoption and many more parenting topics.  I love the simple and to the point nature of these books.  I know that personally (although I adore the idea) digging through most of the parent self-help type books out there is tedious and can take a lot of time.  Sometimes I need the answer sooner, or just a kick in the heiny to get me going in the right direction.

Parenting is a lot of work, I want to enjoy it as much as possible and I know I’m not alone.  These little booklets are great because they leave you time to do the parenting, but also give you the tools to make the experiences you have with your kiddos more productive and enjoyable!

I encourage you to go to www.NewGrowthPress.com and click on the “Mini Books” link!
