summertimebluescoversmParents, prepare yourselves!  Summertime is coming quickly…and with it often comes the endless whine of “There’s nothing to do” or even worse…the dreaded “I’m bored.”  Granted, around this house, when you say things like that you’re likely to get a heap of work piled on your shoulders, so my boys don’t tend to find more creative ways to express their boredom (sigh).

But, they do still get bored and with boys boredom can often be correlated precisely with naughtiness!  So, as a mom I feel pressure to always keep on my toes and have the great ideas flowing daily.  Something that can be very overwhelming.

Enter The Old Schoolhouse’s WeE Book™ – Beating the Summertime Blues!  I know it’s just a little early, but moms I hate to tell you this, it’s May…June is only a month away.  Whether you homeschool or not, this e-book is filled with wonderful suggestions on busting the boredom and making it a GREAT summer break!

I loved all the suggestions on keeping mom’s head clear and sanity intact!  Also, the variety of resources, and other ideas to keep the children busy through the summer are wonderful and will help me to fill our summer with great activities without overplanning it!

You’ll definitely want to hop on over to The Old Schoolhouse and pick up Beating the Summertime Blues…while you’re there, check out all of their WeE Books™, they’re only $1.95 each!
