This logic puzzle game is simple to play but tough to master and has 100 games to challenge you.  It also has three difficulty levels so that you can work your way up to the hardest levels.

Supermarket Mania is definitely my favorite game, but these are both being offered at a fabulous price so I wanted to let you know!

Strategy is the name of the game though since the food comes out on conveyer belts and you have to choose in a way that will allow you to make the next person’s order accordingly.  This is fun, but surprisingly challenging.

Likes: No worries about anything not kid friendly coming up in this game, which is great since I know that I can hand it off to any of our boys and let them play without worrying about what they’re seeing or reading!!!
Dislikes: I can’t really think of anything I don’t like about this game…..it’s simple and not deep, so it won’t be for everyone.

Stand O’ Food is an original, fast-paced restaurant challenge with millions of players on PC and other platforms. Feed a host of hungry patrons before they leave in a huff! Slap together burgers and cook up some bacon as quickly as you can! But it’s not all about speed – you’ve also got to plan ahead. Quizzler family has both silly, fun and serious questions for you to ask your family members.  Here’s what the site says about it:

Play anytime, anywhere—over dinner, stuck in traffic, on a plane, on vacation, in restaurants, waiting in line, waiting for a movie to start, family gatherings, road trips, etc.  It’s a great way to bond with your kids and keep them happy and occupied.  And it’s a fun way for kids to connect with grandparents, too.

Questions range from silly to thought-provoking, like:
* What is the best costume you’ve ever worn?
* Describe a time when you were really brave.

It honestly is a great way to get into your kids’ heads and find out even more about them and how they tick.  Want to know what their favorite vacation memory of all time is…that question is in there. Want to know if they’ve ever been tempted to cheat on a test…yup, that one’s in there too!  Though I found most of the questions to be very light hearted and simple I was even able to engage my 13 year old in the game!

I cannot tell you how much I think this is a great app for families.  For those of you who are wanting to start family time, this is the perfect way to start and you won’t hear any complaints in the process either because they will love interacting with these questions.  If you’re looking for a fun, insightful and interactive one on one time with your child, this is a great way to go.

Likes: Simple questions that kids enjoy answering.  Shake to spin OR push the question button.  Random questions keep the kids really thinking.  Great for family and one-on-one kid time that is informative and engaging.

Dislikes: I really don’t have any dislikes.  The questions are totally family appropriate.  As with anything I always recommend that parents review the application and all questions personally to make sure that it jives with your family’s beliefs and values.

In the same family of games, you’ll find Quizzler Dating…now before you start asking “what in the world would I do with a dating app”, I want to tell you that the questions in this one interested me for a few different situations.   This can be a fun app for couples on date night (though I found that in our case, we knew the answers, so maybe this would be best for newlyweds or young married couples).

But as I went through this app I found the questions to be amazing conversation starters for social events and networking.  What a fun resource to have on hand during a business conference, mom-blogger conference, etc.  Just a thought!

Likes: Mahjongg with a twist, you can shoose to play Quest (fun as it takes you through different levels and difficulties, but I don’t recommend it for children – see my dislikes for explanation), Classic or Endless mahjongg.  I enjoy all three, but especially Quest and Classic.   The graphics are amazing and though the game is super challenging on some levels it is still winnable!

Dislikes: Basically as one mom to another, ignore the story line.  I love these type of games for the game itself and the graphics and typically just skip through the ongoing story that seems to be connected to all of them.  For the review though, I did pay a little attention to it, and really didn’t like the story line.  So for that reason I would only have kids play the classic or endless mahjongg unless you know that they will skip through the story as well.

Right now you can get Mahjongg Artifacts 2 for $1.99 – a 60% savings from the regular price of $4.99 (so hurry and get this one before the price goes back up).

These are two GREAT fitness apps for people who are busy and on the go. They are completely different types of fitness of course, but the cardz and the way you use them is similar so I’ll focus primarily on the SixPack Yoga app.

The Yoga Cardz are totally up my alley! Giving you a ton of choices how to use this app. This app absolutely could not be more user friendly. If you know what type of poses you’d like to do (for SixPack app, if you have the gym equipment in front of you) you simply choose the section you want…Standing, Seated, Floor, etc. You can go into advanced poses, practices and even yoga types. There’s a search feature and you can even choose to see all of the poses in alphabetical order to choose from them.

Want an entire workout? You can choose the “Random” function which brings up a new Yoga Cardz pose when you shake it. When using this app you’ll see a picture of the pose (or exercise), then when you touch the picture it goes into the details of how to perform the pose; the steps, info, tips and modifications!

It honestly couldn’t make it easier for you. I love that I can put in some earphones, and do a little Yoga whenever I have a minute or two…in my world that’s HUGE!  You can download SixPack Yoga HERE.  Remember, SixPack Yoga and SixPack App are both free for a short time, so give them a try!

The morning after I got it, my sis and I had a rather long drive to take…and without kids (when does that happen?).  At some point during the trip, my sis pulled out my iPhone and popped open Letter Bug.  Let’s just say that she sort of disappeared into the game for most of the rest of the trip.

We love it!  It is a lot of fun to play and has a unique cloudy 3-D kind of thing going on with all the letters that just keeps the game intruguing and fun.  It is definitely challenging, but even my kids love to play it when they get a chance!

I obviously love it, but you should really check out the site for yourself to get more information.  You’ll definitely find that this is a very family friendly app and a great addition to your app collection!

Ok, and I’ll admit that even I have fun picking it up and having a go. This isn’t your ordinary Tic Tac Toe game though! Nope, the graphics are the first obvious difference. So cute! You choose to be either the kids or the animals.

But it doesn’t stop there…as you play you get to dip into the treasure chest. There are a couple of options and you never know what you’ll find. One of them will contain more characters to open up and add to the game and another will have more fun little games to choose from in between sets of Tic Tac Paddywack…but you never know what is in either treasure chest.

The extra games are a great diversion from the main game when you want to mix it up a little. Each one does something unique and entertaining and very fun. Because I don’t want to spoil the surprise, I’m not going to share a lot of details about these great little feature games, but suffice it to say there are plenty of fun choices that especially children will enjoy!

The Wordpress app has been around for a while now, but it’s recent upgrades have made it far more functional! Now it gives you not only more flexibility in the controls of your blogs from your iPhone, but it also gives you more options when writing posts.

Want to add a link more easily? No problem. Need to add a photo? No problem. In fact this app will resize it for you! Want to preview your post? Yup, you guessed it, no problem! You can even adjust your post settings while in the writing window.

Just make sure that the XML-RPC setting for your blog is turned on! You find that in the admin area under Settings, then Writing. Just check off the little box, click save and you’ll be good to go.

If you are a Wordpress blogger, iPhone owner and like to blog on the go or anytime your computer isn’t readily available to you (like my situation as I write this), then this FREE app is definitely a “must-have”!

Yes, this entire post was composed using the app! From start to finish I was even able to put it in the right categories. To finish it…all I have to do now is save it and move it from my local folder to a published post!
