Review Policies
Froggy Reviews has many mom reviewers available to you depending on your needs. We are happy to review your products and have worked with many PR companies and Mom-preneurs alike! Our readers are here solely to get the latest information on the greatest family friendly websites, shops and products.
Requirements and information:
In order for us to offer a review of your products, you will need to send a non-returnable product of your choice to the reviewer(s) who will be responsible for reviewing your site/product. We have found that it is impossible for us to write comprehensive reviews on a product or site we know nothing about. If you have a website that does not offer products, please read our Website only review information below.
Our Reviewers: We currently have a variety of mom/family reviewers available to you and are still adding more to our great team. We have reviewers to cover any age group and family size to suit your needs, just be sure to indicate what your target is and we’ll make sure to connect you with the right reviewer.
What We Review: We have reviewed a large variety of family friendly products including (but definitely not limited to): mothers jewelry, green living, organic products, DVD’s (also Blu-Ray), Wii and Nintendo DS games, iPhone apps, toys, family health products, food, games, products for the home, software, meal planning, educational products and many many different types of mom-owned shops with a variety of products! As long as it is family friendly, there are few limitations.
Website Only Reviews (no product): We are also available to review websites for a $25 service fee. This fee covers the time we spend browsing and learning about your website, writing up the review, posting the review and advertising the post. If you are interested in this option, please indicate that on the form and I will email you with all the details (payments will be accepted/invoiced through PayPal). Please note: this option is ONLY for sites that do NOT offer tangible products for sale!
Giveaways: Offering a giveaway in conjunction to a review is the most popular choice. Because I require that readers actually visit your site and leave an entry comment based on what they find there, this option gives you the best visibility. A few more details about giveaways:
- Product sent for review will not be used as the giveaway nor will it be sent back to you after the giveaway ends.
- Giveaways typically last for 10 days and depending on popularity may run for a full 2 weeks.
- Giveaway product is not sent to reviewer, at the end of the giveaway, once the winner has responded, we will pass their information to you so that the product can be shipped directly to them.
Review Timeline & Questionairre: Depending on the number of requests we receive, we are typically able to review a product/site within 2 to 4 weeks of receipt of review product (or receipt of service fee payment). We have a standard review information/questions form that we email out for almost all of the reviews we write. The questions/information requested on this form are basic, but they help us put together the best possible review for you as well as ensuring that we have all the details on what you want to offer in your review.
Discounts: Another very popular option for shops is to offer a discount for readers. This is a simple process, just indicate the percentage/amount you wish to offer as well as any code readers will need to use on the review information email (be sure to include the expiration date for the discount).
